After hours in the basement, Abiodun realized she had somehow stumbled upon another planet. It was a place of incredible beauty and alien wonder. As she marveled at her surroundings, a holographic projection appeared before her, displaying a countdown timer. It read: “Earth – Time Until Invasion: 30 Days.”
As she tried to determine what was going on, she immediately heard a strange alien voice that announced, “The hour is almost here! Earth will cease to exist in 30 days.” Terrified, Abiodun knew she had to return to Earth and warn everyone about the impending invasion. She tried to hurry back through the tunnel and into her apartment.

However, one of the creatures sighted her. The creature seemed to stare at her through what looked like its eyes. The creature alerted the other creatures, but Abiodun immediately struck the creature on its head with a rock in her shaking hands. Green liquid gushed down the creature’s head as it fell down with a thud. The sound alerted other creatures, and an alarm-like sound went off.
Without much ado, she hid behind one of the large rocks. A few seconds later, some creatures rushed to the scene and saw their dead friend. They began making strange sounds that sounded like they were wailing, and they feasted on the lifeless creature. Abiodun’s heart kept beating in fear as she watched the creatures feed ravenously on the dead creature.

She prayed ceaselessly in her mind as she started thinking of a way out of the tunnel. A few seconds later, one of the creatures close to the rock she was hiding sniffed the air. She froze in fear as she watched the creature alert others to a strange presence. Without thinking, she hid herself further beneath the pile of rocks and buried herself in the sand.
She stayed still in the sand as it buried her deeper. As she silently thought she was going to die, the alarm went off again. The creatures left in a hurry and she hurriedly made her way out of the tunnel in fear. When she got to the door with which she had come in, it was no longer there. What she met was a dead end—like she was sealed in.

Many of us are so curious to know what tomorrow holds just like Abiodun who was curious to know what existed in the basement.
I am yet to draw a conclusion of lessons learned from part 3.
Great write up Savvy
